Norwegian Cruise Line’s Latitudes Rewards has the longest ladder of the big programs — seven levels — and some of the most concrete top-end rewards. It also connects to two luxury brands owned by the same company, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Earning Latitudes Points

  • 1 point per cruise night on every eligible sailing.
  • +1 point per night for a full-fare suite or The Haven (Club Balcony Suites excluded).
  • +1 point per night when you book a select Latitudes Rewards Insider Offer (suites and The Haven excluded from this bonus).

The Seven Levels

LevelPointsExamples of what Norwegian adds at this level
Bronze1Keycard recognition, member offers, duty-free discount
Silver20Shore excursion, photo and spa discounts; cocktail party
Gold45Laundry discount, priority tender tickets and disembarkation
Platinum75A free laundry bag, priority check-in and embarkation, dinner for two, concierge service
Sapphire150Larger Wi-Fi and excursion discounts, dinner with officers
Diamond350A one-time complimentary cabin upgrade
Ambassador700A one-time complimentary 7-day cruise

Norwegian says level benefits apply on sailings of five nights or longer, while onboard discounts apply on all sailings.

Oceania and Regent

Latitudes Rewards status is honored when you sail Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which belong to the same parent company. That makes Norwegian a practical stepping stone for travelers who expect to move up to a smaller, more inclusive ship later. Norwegian publishes the details of which onboard benefits apply on those brands; read them before you count on a specific perk.

Who Latitudes Rewards Suits Best

Latitudes works best for travelers who sail Norwegian at least once a year on trips of a week or more, and for anyone who expects to try Oceania or Regent later. Because the ladder has seven steps, there is almost always a next level within reach, and the one-time rewards at Diamond and Ambassador give long-time members a clear goal. Families booking one cabin should remember that each guest earns on their own account.

Making Latitudes Work Harder

Because Norwegian ties level benefits to sailings of five nights or more, travelers who mostly take three- and four-night trips earn points but see fewer of the perks. A mix of short and longer sailings works best. Insider Offers are worth watching: the extra point a night doubles your earning rate in a standard cabin. Suite guests reach the middle of the ladder quickly, since a full-fare suite earns two points a night.

Free at Sea and Your Points

Norwegian’s bundled-extras offer, Free at Sea, is a separate promotion from Latitudes Rewards; it changes what is included in your fare, not how many loyalty points you earn. In late 2025 Norwegian moved new bookings from its More At Sea package back to Free at Sea, honoring earlier bookings as made. For current versions of either, see our sister deals site Cruising for Less.

  • Keep your Latitudes number on every Norwegian, Oceania and Regent booking.
  • Ask whether a sailing is part of an Insider Offer before you book.
  • If you are close to Diamond or Ambassador, plan which sailing will use the one-time reward.
